DMCA Policy

Beef Shawarma is committed to respecting the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. This Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") Policy outlines our procedures for addressing claims of copyright infringement in accordance with the DMCA (17 U.S.C. ยง 512).

It is our policy to respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the DMCA. If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied and is accessible on Beef Shawarma in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please notify our designated DMCA agent as set forth below.

Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

To file a DMCA takedown notice, you must provide a written communication that includes substantially the following:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed: Please provide a detailed description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, including where it was published (such as a URL) and any registration numbers, if applicable.
  2. Identification of the material claimed to be infringing: Please identify the specific location or URL on Beef Shawarma where the allegedly infringing material is located. Providing URLs is the most effective way to help us locate the content.
  3. Sufficient contact information for the complaining party: Include your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  4. A statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief: A statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that use of the copyrighted materials described above as allegedly infringing is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury: A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
  6. An electronic or physical signature: A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Filing a DMCA Counter-Notification

If you believe that your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to our designated DMCA agent. To be effective, a counter-notification must be a written communication that includes substantially the following:

  • Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled: Please provide the specific URLs or descriptions of the material that was removed or disabled.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury: A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
  • Your name, address, and telephone number: Sufficient contact information for the counter-notifying party.
  • A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court: A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which Beef Shawarma may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification or an agent of such person.
  • Your physical or electronic signature: An electronic or physical signature of the subscriber.
